Great place to stay for a trip to Aizuwakamatsu. Exceptional hotel with very very nice and courteous staff. All in all stunning and particularly good location, right by the surrounding outdoors, in particular the gardens and the river, and the public areas. Also, in the middle of jackson. A wide array of options, delicious food

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was serene and quiet, and I was able to enjoy the beautiful view of the river and mountains from my room. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the baths which included an outdoor pool. The multi-course dinner and breakfast buffet were delicious with fresh ingredients. The staff were very helpful and courteous, and language was not a significant barrier for communication.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The traditional Japanese style rooms were spacious, well-equipped and offered spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was exceptional. We particularly enjoyed the local cuisine and the lavish new year's dinner. the hotel is conveniently located near a variety of interesting tourist attractions and picturesque nature trails.
The wifi connection in the rooms was quite slow and unreliable at times. some of the common areas had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke that was quite unpleasant.

Our xmas stay had many great aspects, including breathtaking views of the river and valley, and excellent breakfast and dinner spreads. the staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the private open-air bath on the balcony and the beautiful landscaping.
While our stay was mostly positive, there were a few negative aspects. We wish bottled water had been provided complimentary, as the prices for rooms were quite high.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area, which is perfect for those who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are decorated with beautiful traditional art, making the atmosphere of the hotel well thought out, according to the reviews. The breakfast served at the hotel is said to be delicious with a wide variety of food options. Visitors just loved the private onsen in the room, with an amazing view this is the perfect way to end the evening.
One of the staff members had a mix up with the names and assigned the wrong room, which created confusion.
